The most heavy duty of coated abrasive discs, full resin bond on vulcanized (cotton fibers treated under intense pressure and heat) fiber backing. Designed for applications ranging from heavy stock removal to surface blending. Used with back up pads on portable angle grinders. Enhance your rust removal and cleaning and detailing processes by attaching the Blaze® F980 medium grit fiber disc to your right angle grinder or pistol grip air sander. The 100% ceramic alumina micro-fracturing grain delivers better cut rate and longer life when compared to blended ceramic alumina discs. A heavy fiber backing resists tears, while the self-lubricating grinding aid makes cool cuts on materials that are hard to grind, such as stainless steel, super alloys and titanium.
